ABOUT
Nabhan Plumbing was just a dream before 2013 when Dave Nabhan began envisioning owning his own company. However, when an EF-4 tornado struck the small town of Washington, IL, on November 17, 2013, Dave’s brother’s home was caught up in the path of destruction. Dave rushed to the scene with his pickup truck and began assisting those in need in his brother’s neighborhood. This unfortunate setback gave Dave reason to initiate planning for Nabhan Plumbing to help support his brother and their family’s recovery. However, life had other plans for Dave, raising his three little girls, and soon a fourth, took priority over starting a business. So, Dave helped his brother rebuild without fully establishing his business, and the idea was postponed for a time.
It was not until 2021 that Dave returned to his idea for a business after being laid off by a long-term contractor. This, unfortunately, left Dave with few work options: working at the local nuclear plant or starting that company he had once longed for. The choice was obvious for Dave and his family. The market for service contractors was booming at the peak of COVID-19, giving Dave and his family the confidence they needed to jump into business ownership. And thus, Nabhan Plumbing was officially born!
